Abstract

Imam Hamd Bin Muhammad al-Khattabi(D.388AH) is a famous and well known Islamic scholar. His basic and original work is in the field of al- Hadith.  He is the first commentator&interpreter ofSunanabidawood andSaheehal-bukhari. He did not write any book regarding commentary on The Holy Quran but a rich data in respect of commentary & interpretive points on Quranic verses ,is present in his books.In this Article, a review on methodology of Imam Al-khattabi’scommentary & interpretive points, is presented.
